After the endless teaser stories and photos of cars wearing vestigal disguise, Mini has finally released full details of its cut down, uglied-up two-seat Coupe. The fifth – and most ludicrous - Mini shape comes in Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper SD and John Cooper Works forms and, according to BMW, promises to reward keen drivers with ‘a level of handling and agility unmatched in the small car segment’. We think current champs RenaultSport might have something to say about that.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation will show its new ASX compact crossover at the 2010 Geneva motor show on 2 March.It's the new Euro version of the Japanese-market RVR, landing in showrooms in the east from February 2010. It's a five-seater and will arrive in Europe in late spring 2010.Another Mitsubishi SUV!Yes, they have a burgeoning range, if you're being polite. A wide and confusing one if you're feeling critical.
Now in its 18th year, the UK's Goodwood Festival of Speed (which runs over the coming weekend of the 2 to 4 July) this year adds an extra day prior to the main event, billed as the Moving Motor Show. Designed partially as a replacement for the British Motor Show, which was last held at London's Excel exhibition centre in 2008, the Moving Motor Show allows some 2000 members of the public to drive recent new cars from 22 manufacturers up Goodwood's famous hill climb course. This development fits well with recent trends.
